The Initial Xbox Game Pass Games of 2026 Reveal Xbox Is Still Fighting.

Everywhere you go, commentators persist in tolling the funeral bells for the Xbox brand. The platform was lately surpassed in sales by a relatively obscure console. Xbox fan sites have started writing about PlayStation as a new development. The past year represented complete chaos for Xbox and Microsoft. Yet, based exclusively on the titles headed to the service in 2026, it is apparent that the green gaming company still intends to engage players with quality releases on its premier subscription.

The Available Now Titles

The duo of games that are immediately available today, Brews & Bastards and Little Nightmares Enhanced Edition, don't represent the biggest draws. The true anticipation is for the upcoming titles to Game Pass in the coming weeks that's worth getting excited about.

Major Titles on the Horizon

Starting January 13th, Game Pass will add the often-overlooked Star Wars Outlaws, a sprawling adventure that deviates from conventional open-world tropes with a cosmic robbery tale. An additional significant inclusion is Resident Evil Village with its iconic tall vampire, previously described as "a superb mixture of frights and fights."

Intriguing Niche Additions

But even the smaller games set to join the catalog are noteworthy here. Lost In Random: The Eternal Die, the criminally overlooked roguelike that is incredibly fun, arrives January 7th — and you should try it regardless of whether you played the first Lost in Random game.

The British post-apocalyptic game from last year might get its hooks in you in about 15 minutes flat.

Atomfall, a survival title with stealth elements by Rebellion Developments, is another one to watch. Ultimate tier members also have Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine – Master Crafted Edition to look forward to.

A Robust Selection of Games

Ultimately, these titles aren't industry-shaking releases to Game Pass, nor are they massive exclusive blockbusters that validate the subscription by themselves. Yet, this selection are very dependable. It offers a healthy blend of past releases that passed you by and relatively recent releases that didn't get the attention they warranted upon launch — which makes them excellent choices to get a second chance on Game Pass.

Hope you're ready to say goodbye to The Grinch Christmas Adventures, as it happens.
