The Hero Shooter Marvel Rivals Unabashedly Reveals its New Lady Loki Outfit
While some may dismiss Marvel Rivals as an Overwatch clone, developer NetEase earns credit for discovering innovative ways to appeal to its unabashedly thirsty audience. Enter Lady Loki, a completely new outfit for the existing Strategist hero Loki, providing players a faithful to the comics depiction of the Asgardian deity.
A Reskin of Loki, Not Hela
Despite earlier predictions and fears, the previously teased Lady Loki costume is definitely not a skin for Hela. Rather, it is a complete visual overhaul of Loki the character, complete with new voiceover work. Based on the official preview, Lady Loki keeps all of Loki's core powers: his projectile attack, his trickery skill, and Doppelgänger. The sole difference is her striking new look, designed to appeal to an audience eager to part with their Lattice.
Hearing and Seeing Lady Loki
Below is a glimpse at Lady Loki on the battlefield, along with a taste of her new voiceover, performed by voice actor Abby Trott. It's worth noting Trott is also the voice behind Magik in Marvel Rivals.
The character's dialogue and onscreen presence add a new dynamic to the well-known playstyle.
A Gateway to Future Skins
Now that NetEase has broken the seal with this gender-bent skin for Loki, the Marvel Rivals community is already considering future possibilities. Popular ideas now range from:
- Gwenpool as the upcoming Deadpool.
- Thor's alter ego Jane Foster as Thor.
- Spider-Gwen as Spider-Woman.
The big question is: Will NetEase have the guts to introduce less mainstream alternate versions, such as one-time Ms. Marvel Sharon Ventura as She-Thing? That will probably hinge on fan demand!

The Lady Loki skin will be obtainable in Marvel Rivals from January 1, 2026, at 6 p.m. PST until January 29, 2026, at 6 p.m. PST.
