Kai Trump can count on numerous high-profile supporters as she begins her professional golf debut later this week.

This teenage golfer, who is connected to a former US president, obtained a tournament invitation to compete at the Annika tournament in the Sunshine State.

The former president, a passionate golfer, owns multiple international courses and frequently plays against Kai.

"He's pretty good. I can't reveal details but we play competitive games," she stated.

Kai explained that her grandfather, who cannot attend, told her: "Just avoid anxiety."

"He basically told me to compete and relax," she added.

"In my eyes, he's just an ordinary family member. He won't be there for the tournament. He's occupied with running the country, making him somewhat preoccupied."

Being non-professional, Kai has competed in just three tournaments in 2024 and maintains position 461 in AJGA rankings.

However she's able to receive tips from 15-time major champion, romantically involved with Vanessa.

"He represents the greatest golfer in the world," Kai stated.

"Furthermore, he's a superior person. He advised me to go out there, enjoy myself, following the flow."

Kai will face some of most prominent players in women's golf at the Annika, such as second-ranked Nelly Korda, England's golfer Hull, Lexi Thompson and last year's winner Lilia Vu.

Officials mentioned that involving Kai exposes the sport to new audiences, specifically reaching youth audiences.

The young star boasts millions of followers and just introduced an exclusive clothing and lifestyle label.

Her first tee time at 5:30 PM GMT.
