Jet Carrying Pete Hegseth Required to Touch Down in UK Due to Crack in Cockpit Window
An aircraft carrying Pete Hegseth was forced to make an unscheduled landing in the United Kingdom on Wednesday after a crack was discovered in the plane's windshield, according to an official announcement which confirmed that all passengers were secure.
"The plane touched down in accordance with standard procedures and all individuals on the flight, such as Pete Hegseth, is secure," an official representative said in a social media post.
He was traveling back from a short visit to the Belgian capital when the incident occurred.
This event isn't the first time that a United States armed forces jet transporting a top government figure has suffered technical problems.
Months ago, a American military jet ferrying Secretary of State Marco Rubio to Munich was compelled to head back to Washington after encountering a technical issue.
