Chopper Spirals Wildly into Palm Groves at Frequented Southern California Beach
A chopper hovering above a well-attended California coastline suddenly began spiraling wildly, eventually dropping height and smashing into a line of palm trees as onlookers observed.
Recordings uploaded online depict the aircraft starting to spin near Huntington Beach then falling near the perimeter of the beach, where it gets stuck between palm trees and a set of stairs close to the coastal road.
First Aid Details
Local firefighters stated five people were transported to a medical facility comprising a pair who were in the helicopter and were “extracted safely from the crash site” subsequent to the crash on Saturday.
Three persons on the road were injured. Details on their injuries were not yet released.
The reason for the accident was not yet disclosed.

Officials indicated the helicopter was linked to an annual “Cars with Copters” benefit occasion planned for the next day.
